Information Resource are E-Resources found in our Subscribed databases. This handbook helps you on how you can access these e-resources.
These can be accessed in two different Modes which are; Open Access and Subscription Databases
2. Getting Started With Google Classroom
Classroom is a new product in the suite of tools called Google Apps for Education. It gives teachers and professors a simpke way to:
- grade, and
- return assignments paperless
Students can also conduct Discussions on the Classroom.
But for one to access the Classroom you have to setup your cuz.ac.zw email address.
3. How to find print Resources
Print Resources are the physical print books that are shelfed in the Library.
We as a CUZL use the Library of Congress Classification System, which is the one used to assigning call numbers to books and other items. A call number is an address which determines the item's location on the shelf. To understand more, click download below.
4. Using Mendeley
Mendeley is a contemporary reference manager that helps you keep references and literature for your research.
So, what is Mendeley exactly? Mendeley is free academic software that is available on all major platforms and in all modern browsers. That means you can use Mendeley on your Mac, on your PC, or in Linux. Mendeley offers you a desktop application that you run on your computer, a web library for when you’re not at your own computer, and an iOS application, so you can work on the go. We’ll see how the desktop and web components work together in a couple of slides.
