This scheme provides funding for mid-career researchers from any discipline who have the potential to be international research leaders. They will develop their research capabilities, drive innovative programmes of work and deliver significant shifts in understanding related to human life, health and wellbeing.

If you are a student or researcher engaged in Africa-focused studies at a University in Sweden, Finland, Denmark or Iceland, the Nordic Scholarship Programme gives you the opportunity to visit Nordic Africa Institute for one month.

The program requires affiliation with a higher education or research institution in Zimbabwe, as well as a thorough research plan in any area, but especially:

The MINDS Scholarship Programme for Leadership Development in Africa 
MINDS Scholarships apply to full-time studies of a one or two-year Honours or Master’s degree at one of the MINDS preferred institutions. MINDS does not prescribe the course to be studied.

The Scholarship will cover some or all of the expenses below, depending on whether a partial or full scholarship is awarded:
1. Tuition
2. Accommodation and meals
3. One return ticket per duration of studies
4. A fixed stipend.

Call for Competition: Young Creatives to Disseminate Research Findings.
Applications must be submitted by teams or organizations owned and managed by young people (18–35 years old). A vetting process will be conducted, and entrants will be required to provide valid identification. Any false information, including misrepresentation of age, will result in immediate disqualification.
Preference will be given to applicants from the 17 project countries.
Applications can be submitted in any of the following languages: English, French, Portuguese and Arabic.
